The next Steering Committee is Thursday April 27th at 6:30 at Neptune Coffee in downtown Greenwood just south of N 85th St on Greenwood Ave N next to Antika.  The steering committee meets monthly. The next General Membership meeting is April 30th at 6pm at Greenwood Library Meeting Room.    

Community members are encouraged to contact the steering committee with any pressing issues that need to be addressed between general membership meetings. 

All are welcome to be present at Steering Committee meetings.  If you would like to  participate on the steering committee level, please let us know.  Please come to the April 27th meeting if you are interested in the Aurora Avenue Action Agenda to hear the updates and commment.

Tentative Agenda for February Steering Committee Meeting is:

-Review Action Steps from last month. Check for completion and identify continuing action steps.

-Aurora Avenue Action Agenda.  Update from steering committee member John Todd and Claudia Arana from Community Development at the Mayor's Office. 

-Greenwood Ave N:  Reviewing the PDR of the funding package

-Daylighting Olympia all the way to Seattle:  What can we do to influence the ped / bike safety grant application that SDOT will make for state money?

-Off-Ramps Offing Citizens: what can we do to get the city to put their money where the deaths are?

-Greenwood Sidewalks: pledging hours for the sidewalks cause
